Every year, Hermès unveils new colors that enrich its iconic palette. For 2025, the house is offering a unique selection, with shades that will get people talking, for better or worse. As always, some will become must-haves, others will divide, but one thing is for sure: there will be plenty to debate.
So what are this year's new shades?
GRIS ARGENTÉ

Cousin of the Doré color launched during the 2024 Olympic Games (see article) , the Gris Argenté is making its big comeback at Hermès in 2025.
And yes, it is indeed a comeback for this iconic shade! Back in 2005, Hermès introduced it in its Mondore collection alongside an elegant bronze. Fancy a little trip down memory lane? Find this 2005 version, 20 years before its return, in my article on the 10 rarest Hermès bags by clicking here.

So far, only one image of this Gris Argenté applied to a bag is available (the Constance 18 pictured above).
However, digging a little deeper into women's shoes, we find this leather on certain sandals... A discreet appearance that hints at its potential before its wider deployment? To be continued!

vert mangrove

Vert Mangrove is a deep, muted duck green, marked by strong shades of gray. It is halfway between the forest green of Vert Cyprès and the intensity of Bleu Orage.
Depending on the light, it can appear almost black, while in brighter lighting its cool green-gray highlights stand out more.

Vert Mangrove is available in two types of leather: Epsom leather and Clémence Taurillon leather.

rouge radieux

The boldest of the collection, Rouge Radieux stands out with its bright, blue-based red. Unlike warmer, orange-toned reds like Rouge De Cœur, this pure shade has a cooler tone while remaining just as vibrant.

Rouge Radieux is available in two types of leather: Clémence Taurillon leather and Epsom leather.

gris pantin

A new addition to Hermès’ growing gray collection, Gris Pantin adopts a cool shade with blue highlights. Evoking Bleu Glacier and Bleu Pâle, while approaching the Gris Platine launched in 2024, this subtly icy shade revisits neutral with a modern twist. Its name, Pantin, refers to the city where Hermès manufactures and its headquarters are located.

Gris Pantin is available in two types of leather: Clémence Taurillon leather and Madame leather.

bleu tie

Bleu Tie is an intermediate blue with a subtle shade of gray, located between Bleu de Malte and Bleu de Presse. Less bright than shades like Bleu Royal, it brings a cold and muted touch to the palette of Hermès blues.

The Bleu Tie is available in one type of leather: Taurillon Clémence.

New bleu hydra

While fashion has recently turned to the renaissance of Bleu Jean (now New Bleu Jean), another iconic shade is making a comeback in 2025. New Bleu Hydra revives the punchy vibrancy of its 2012 predecessor. This bright, electric blue retains all of its intensity and captivating power —and it’s my favorite color from Hermès.

The New Bleu Hydra is available in two types of leather: Togo leather and Mysore Goat leather.
